Henry Fagan

Henry FaganHenry Fagan recently completed his MA dissertation at UCT under the supervision of Carolyn Hamilton and Maanda Mulaudzi. His work encompassed a historiographical and bibliographical examination of historical productions on the KwaZulu-Natal region’s late independent era (the period immediately prior to the onset of colonialism). Specifically, he sought to identify patterns which have emerged in these historical productions at various points in time. Henry is now engaged in expanding the scope of the initial project by working closely with the APC. In addition, he is working to produce a set of bibliographic tools which will assist future researchers and promote greater engagement with the period prior to colonialism.
