Debra Pryor

Debra Pryor took up the reigns as Archival Content Manager of the FHYA in 2015, bringing her previous collections management experience from her 6 years as Audio Archivist at the Centre for Popular Memory (CPM). Debra heads the metadata and media processing set-up and workflow and has become an AtoM (Access to Memory) specialist, who together with her team has helped deliver the first iteration of the exemplar on this open source platform. Always ensuring that the decolonial agenda and conceptual aims of the project are practically and faithfully reflected in every area of input and output is at the core of her work. She has successfully trained 3 interns, who are fast becoming specialists in their own right.
